The 21st century and its unprecedented rise of tension across the United States as well as the world has birthed a generation of unease. Young people, born into fear of the future, unsure of what is to come in this new age of political upheaval. As technology and social media sweeps through the Millennials, Gen Z, and whatever generation is to follow, our world is oddly becoming less educated in an age of immense information availability. The manipulation of algorithms and the rotting of brains addicted to swiping through TikTok is an evident failure in the capacity of technology.

As someone from these younger generations who has suffered from this very addiction to scrolling and incompetence, I have acknowledged the unending amounts of misinformation and useless ideas that infiltrate our young minds.

As a student studying the ins and outs of political/social ideology and discourse, I have found myself sickened by the numerous lies and faulty discussions that are had between my peers, and I have seen little attempts to cure this epidemic. Influenced by professors, journalists, activists, and new age thinkers, I find myself adopting activism in the sole attempt to restructure our failing system of technological education and the weak spread of inciteful ideology.

In my recent years of higher education, I have found passion in researching and expressing ideas and topics that are typically avoided by the common mind; ideas that are difficult to understand, research, or stomach. One of the largest issues facing our society as a whole in the 21st century is the lack of truthful and relevant knowledge that is intriguing and accessible to the public, and the mass corruption of our global governments that make no attempt to repair this problem.

GabeJamesMedia is an openminded, conversational platform that will aim to allow uncensored discourse on the topics of the New Age world. The use of new technologies like AI software and social media are to be used in their most effective methods, creating a collection of minds and thinkers who aim to acknowledge and expose the intricacies of our world that have been hidden or forgotten for so long. Education is a tool, and technology is upgrading its form. And by promoting the use of thoughtful ideas to educate our societies on the truths of the world, controversial or not, will pave a strong path toward a more cohesive, open-minded community of New Age thinkers.
